"South Africain," "I will combined shipping when ever possible," " E-Mail them me. "

The reeding sticking out at bottom is strange. Probably reflection inside them scanner.
I tried aind failed to taked a picture with the rieding showing like that.

Any how better than mine looks it.

Well spotted .. its proof, just a nicer strike with deep hairlines and excellent detail.

A really nice and really collectable coin.. SA coins are a great investment IMO.. but esp Kruger stuff ie: 1890s

I'm glad you noticed the deep hairlines. I need to get the coin out and show you how bad some are. Some look like someone took the end of a staple and scratched the coin up. I'll take a picture tonight and should have it up. I need to work on something in mean time.

Sorry in the delay to get pictures up. I did get out the macro lens so maybe we could shed some light on the subject. Two reasons why, the coin was in my wife's car all day  , but also I wanted y'all to look at the ebay listing first and tell me what you thought might be wrong without my opinion adulterating your observations. My opinion is that the deep scratches are not obviously represented in the listing and that something advertised as unc maybe would deserve a note on features like this. I believe if I was more observant I might have noticed the ear scratches but the eye scratches are washed out the glare in the ebay pic.

Looks like someone intentionally scratched it the way the scratches turn in the ear like there was some grime they wanted to remove. Looks deliberate.

I had a hard time getting the eye so here are some others.

all in all it cost me less than $30 :/ and the coin has good naked eye appeal.

1for1, I'm not sure it is a proof. would it look like the canadian dollar proofs or the shiny fields in the modern PM bullion coins? if so, then this isn't a proof as the coin is frosty, fields and devices both.

There is some green gunk remaining in the ear. Maybe it was in one of these PVC coffins before :o
