The Age was referring to gold was no longer a haven for safes. Damn safes getting broken into and all. ;-P

Perhaps this is true but can't bear to buy the yellow metal when the white one is soooooooooooooooo cheap :D
 
Id be stocking up, the aussie dollar is gunna get pillaged when greece defaults, gold might go down too but i can see it getting alot more expensive in our money, any week now...
 
I think French banks will beat Greece's default, but I thoroughly agree. About 1-7 weeks to fix the storm windows.
