Income Inequality is the next challenge.

The problem though is that in reality it now IS actually interfering with people's lives - ask those people whose businesses are being ruined....

I for one certainly do not want my young children being indoctrinated with such ideas! I believe it to be damaging and confusing for them.

Be responsible home school your school if you feel that that your kid school is indoctrinating your kids or at least demand your kids not be taught certain classes.

the property is there any they still own it and the government has not forcibly taken it

unlike here the government would have kicked you out and taken your property long ago

As I said, you have an unusual interpretation of private property rights.

Property rights include one’s body, one’s possessions AND extend to the area around one’s body and one’s possessions.

It’s why you can lodge a complaint about that annoying white fluffy dog that lives down the street from you that barks all day or give the guy you’re pissing next to at the trough at least 300mm of space.

And for your information the property in the first photo has gone.

Private property rights baby....yeah. The specifics arent always important as long as I can have an outhouse and shoot from my porch without bothering anyone but my wife.
She put an end to shooting from the window and that was just a pellet gun hehe. Seems the cats are snowflakes.

I see people who helpld on to their property despite the government's best efforts in order to secure a better deal

Ahlgain in socialist Australia your house would be stolen and inadequate compensation will be given for it and you don't really have a leg to stand on and no the movie the castle does not happen in reality

You're clutching at straws mate.

Determining the value of the land

In determining the value of land that has been compulsorily acquired, the Land Court must take into account the land’s most advantageous purpose or its “highest and best use.” This means the best use that a claimant could have put their interest in the land to if the land resumption had not taken place.3 It’s important to note that this assessment looks beyond the actual use of the land at the time of the Resumption Notice. It considers the use that results in the highest economic value on the open market or that is reasonably expected to produce the greatest net return to the claimant over time.

In determining the highest and best use of the land, planning controls and other factors that may affect the land are taken into account. The value of the land can also be assessed by reference to subsequent sales of similar parcels of land after the date of resumption but any intervening changes in the market between the resumption date and the date of sale4 must be taken into account.

Capitalism is fantastic for the people that have and terrible for the have nots.

Nope.

Apart from theft, which is what tribal society is built on, capitalism is the best system in providing the have-nots with their must haves. History is proof of that. Apart from theft, which is what crony-capitalism is built on, capitalism is the best system in ensuring the haves (or want-to-haves) meet the needs of the have-nots.

Capitalism is the system by which the want-to-haves attempt to ensure the have-nots have their haves. ;)

I remember a few years back you were clearly a socialist ... you had a bit of a rethink about that mate? ;)
Your positive sentiment toward property rights in Communist China is perhaps a relic of your past far left views which now reveals itself in your admiration of China - the most repressive fascist regime in existence today...

and profitable
Indeed ... ask the spineless, two-faced NBA team (as well as their scumbag Nike sponsors) which has sold their soul and are kissing Communist Chinese butt for profit.
Typical of the left actually... their fake, pseudo-superior moral outrage on display once again for all to see!
