We have two important decisions to be made in September..... Taper or no Taper.... And debt ceiling to be raised or removed..... Does anyone know any dates of when either of these are going to be decided.... I need to know asap because I'm really not dealing with all this stuff very well and I just want September to come around so they can get this shit over and done with so we can all get on with our lives and make decisions accordingly..

Well you know I spend all this time on this website where everyone reckons they know ALL about the world and 'apparently' theres an elite group of people planning to take over the world all of our money and assets too.
I have also already witnessed house prices going thru the roof in Oz, watched the ass fall out of the interest rates because they're trying to stimulate the economy, also watched the country slowly go backwards into near recession since Labor have been in power.....
I tell you, I'm really bloody worried about the present climate we are all in!

I used to worry like you, TheEnd. But after a year of doing so and not much really happening I figured there was no point stressing about something that's out of my control and nothing I can do about it.
I've bought enough PM's and even started stacking food (something I never thought I'd do) to allay some of that worry so now I'm all like 'let the games... begin'

Buying a water collection tank for your house might be a good idea also. Keep it a secret though so you don't get on any lists

Then at some time in the future the government needs to raise revenue and decides to meter peoples water tanks to tax them for the water that fell out of the sky, or the sun that shines on your roof, only a matter of time. and then any saving you made when such a generous government decided to give you a hand out will quickly be pinched back straight out of your pocket.

Ye I actually have a 1000 ltr tank sitting next to a BIG shed collecting water..... Had a brainstorm of plumbing the toilet into it to instead of using fresh clean mains water.....And toilets use about 7 ltrs of water every flush so ther is some savings to be made.... Just got to get a plumber around to see if he can actually do it?
