Ozboy said:My local supermarket has the bins placed far away from any place a member of the public could accidentally walk by. At nigh it's flood lit. They gone to serious effort to make this as difficult as possible. I have also heard of a locAl pizza chain installing extra heavy locks on the bins.

got to admit i am a bit of a srcounger though, i ride my bicyle and you would be surprised what you can pick up, got a toolbox a while ago and a fully automated welding helmet, and to boot a wallet full of cards with a mobile which got returned to the owner.
for those that wont dive, stack high, one day hard times may come. i have had mates become alcholics that will drink meths through bread. bit hard when you can only give the kids warm water for supper, so go on your knees and say thanks, you are most probably amonst the top 2% in the world.
quite common to lift a carton which is theft but wont dive???

I used to work at a buffet restaurant for 6 years, it all got chucked, not even employees could take anything home for fear of them getting ill and suing the shop.
