Hungry for Silver...But...

Please note that I'm not a newbie in this space.

I've been getting very hungry for silver lately, however I just don't know what to buy or where to buy it. Essentially I'd like to buy ounces or maybe even 1/2 ounces of silver coins, but I'm turned off by government issued mint. I guess I want something that looks cool, is recognisable, but doesn't have a government imprimatur on it. Added to that is the problem of the limited range of coins available from Melbourne PM dealers...

I love the silver kookaburras...then I see the queen's head on the obverse. Perhaps I should just stick with bullion bars? But they're a bit boring to me...

I also thought about getting a silver necklace...

I think I'm looking for inspiration!

American Silver Eagle? Armenian Noahs Ark? Mexican Silver Libertad? Austrian Philharmonic? None of them have the Queens head on them.

I guess I want something inspiring! I'm feeling a REAL hankering for silver right now - maybe I'm getting an inkling that this is the bottom.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. None of the things that you've mentioned does it for me, however. (Maybe Silver Shield, but I've already got a whole stack of Chris Duane's stuff.)

I'll wait until Bullion Now has their website up and running. I've been told good things about them, but I want a functioning site before I make contact.

In any case up vote for @malachii and @Bullion Now - just go and visit them, you never know what you can find...

Have you considered silver bars?

Nothing beats the feel of a 10oz / 1kg bar... IMHO.

Plus you can actually hold a silver bar without feeling bad about touching it... Lol
