Huge Premiums on 10 oz bars! Might as well buy Coins!

maples can get serious milk spots, :( would rather stick with 50's or predec which does not mind being stored in a heap. keep it simple. :)

Serious and milk spots in the same sentence lol.

Maples are bullion coins in my view .no numi value.

If anyone wants to sell me maples with milk spots , I will buy @ spot. :)

PM 10 oz bar aud $334.81

10 x 1 oz Maple $ 343.58

I reckon having bars and coins is the go.

Coins have an advantage as you can sell odd amounts .Maybe someone only has $ x and this will only buy 7 oz.

People understand coins.

Bars are easy to stack

I always wondered why they get spots. Is it because they are .9999? Anybody know?

more info about this coin recalling legislation,please..[/quote]

1965 currency Act, part 4, section 23:

Coins may be called in

(1)
The Governor-General may, by Proclamation, call in any coins issued under this Act or the repealed Acts before a date specified in the Proclamation.

(2)
A Proclamation under subsection (1) has effect from such date as is specified in the Proclamation for the purpose.

Everything goes up, labour cost, and energy. So premium increase is excepted tho.
