How to trade stocks on TSX?

Guys just want any advice on finding a broker that can trade international especially TSX stocks.

I wanted something better than Comsec and their ripoff international fees.

Anyone doing this already?

Tips? Hints? Guidance?
 
Try Interactivebrokers.com, I have mentioned them on other threads. I have traded with them for the past 4 years without any problems. Their trading platform is good, and I regularly buy and sell on the TSX and Venture exchanges.
 
I use InteractiveBrokers as well, although just for 3 months, and so far no problems. I speak to their support via their chat if I need to and they usually are ok.
 
I don't have an account there yet, but many experienced traders have recommended IB to me. You can trade US, CA, AU, HK & some other countries. IB fees are higher than what I pay in the US, but the bid/ask spread is much smaller and the trading volumes much larger. Those two benefits greatly outweigh the higher commissions.
 
Dccpa, Check on what commission rates you are talking for IB, on US shares I pay a flat fee of US$1.00 for buying or selling, for Canadian shares it is about C$1.00 per 100 shares and for Australian shares A$6.00 per buy or sell. Seems low to me, where are you getting lower ?
 
I am also looking to set up a international trade account. Any suggestions ?

I use Scottrade, which doesn't allow me to directly trade on the TSX that I am aware of, but I can usually find an OTC, pink sheet, or ADR for the company I am interested in. I bought some Barkerville Gold Mines at $1.09 and sold at $1.49, making me happy I went through the trouble :)
