How to get coins graded by NGC

Hello All
I would appreciate your advise on getting 1oz coins graded. It seems a little convoluted to get NGC to grade coins. Has anyone here gone through the process?

PS I want to get some older kooks, pandas etc done

I can tell you a story about an Aussie company which submitted $16k's worth of ungraded coins - $20k+ graded - and they sent them out by ordinary parcel post to disappear into the ether, providing absolutely no help when something went wrong - in fact quite the opposite. Now the GRADING company has wheeled out its bigshot lawyers, threatening the customer with legal action if they talk to anyone about it. Go figure. Do the research - use PCGS instead
