I've saved up 'n' sold some silvers and finally she's all MINE :D I can't be any happier to land my hands on her. I hope you guys can convince me to send her to grading. I'm not sure what she's worth but hope you enjoy me COW as much as I am...

I notice tiny spots on both sides and I want to send her to NCS to conserve coins. But is this part of NGC? Please advise as I'm kinda new with these grading stuff.. how long is it to get the coin back from grading, normal submission.

Thanks in advance and enjoy.....

Not sure why the coin pics are sideway....Just getting input on grades of this coin. I'm going to say (low baller) MS 68? Can spots be sorted by sending it to NCS?

a) what is it ?

b) is it genuine? too many Chinese fakes around for me to go anywhere near them.

Answers:
A) Chinese S1 1985 Cow year
B) yup, got it from reputable seller, with invoice. Weight & size are spot on.

According to Peter Anthony Monthly Price Guide

OMP recent prices range from $214-$314 usd
MS68 $380
MS69 $800

So if NCS are able to clean up the spots then it has a good chance at a 69 if there are no other visible faults at 5x magnification

NCS fees are below. Looks like $8 + 4% declared value
http://www.ncscoin.com/conservation/services_and_fees.asp

NGC fees are below. Looks like $17-35 depending on 5 or less coins

http://www.ngccoin.com/services/services.aspx

Then add insured postage to USA and back.

Time frame depends on how busy NCS/NGC are. From past experience 2-3 months all up.

Thanks digoxin, exactly what I need to find NCS/NGC details.. I may need to wait for a couple more coins & send all in one to bring the cost down..

Thanks to everyone who put comments... I'll go ahead with it as I like This coin and hope to expand to other lunars

I knew someone would say that!!! It's in my wish list, and with the rat/roster/dog/.... What the he'll.. The rest I guess..:)

nice coin :) about 30 usd to grade and conserve at ncs/ngc ,,,,,,,,,,, pf68 on a bad day ,should be a 69 IMHO, that little piggy is hard to find:)

Thanks guys for all replies.. Another question for yo'al experts... will NCS remove all those imperfections?
