Highest price paid for an oz

What's the highest price paid for an oz coin of silver on SS?
Just want to know if a new record could be set. :o
 
Dunno - has a Red Back changed hands here?

I think an Engelhard Australia 1oz bar changed hands around $700 - I've sold two ounces here for $500 ea but saw them subsequently sell higher.

Double Mirror Ram XAG will give it a run for it's money though.
 
For coins, probably the kilo mouse that went for $1,500+

For bars, the 1oz Engelhard for $800+

At the height of the Mongolian Wildlife frenzy, I was one Wolverine short of 2 complete sets (wolverine, owl, hedgehog).
I paid $1300 for a wolverine so I could flip the other 2 coins as a set. While I merely recouped my $1300 on the wolverine, it increased the price of the owl and hedgehog on fleabay.
So I didn't lose on the purchase, but in fact profited indirectly. :)
 
I paid $1400 for a Evansville Norfed coin, held onto it for 12 months and sold it here a few months ago for $2000 :D
