Hi, What camera set up and lighting did you use for this? Thanks.
That was just my iPhone. Nothing special at all. It was a bit dark on the evening so I also had a LED torch giving some diffuse light.

The colour is a bit more coppery than that but hard to capture accurately with the iPhone camera.

The attention to fine detail is exceptional, and the manufacturing quality is amazing.

I am not surprised. Smartphone cameras are convenient and always available. They are also getting more powerful.

Great photos SpacePete! Yes, this medal is a true classic now and forever, so hold on to it :-)

You have some too.

I have 6 pcs for collection. I bought back 2 pcs from customer for sell.

Yes I digged deep for this series as I have such belief in quality and art value apart from the low mintage, and this series fit perfectly. I look forward to the continuation of the series and think we still have the best versions of Swan & Duck to come and very curious about nest iteration if it will be more mythical... ;)

The high relief shows up again nicely. And it is very close-up. Good job and Thanks!

SpacePete, your photos are absolutely awesome! I would probably have purchased this medal if I would have seen photos like these but instead all I saw were drab rather boring and unimpressive photos for this medal when it first came out (from my recollection).

I have discussed in brief with another Chinese medal fan the problem with the sellers of many Chinese medals....is that their marketing is not very good at all.....especially problematic is that their photos are usually really poor quality. High quality photos and videos are often key in my decision to buy of not to buy coins and medals.

some silver #3 & 4 will release here for sell with designer signature on coa. I am really tight up with job and no time to list it in chinesemedals.com webpage. Bob also busy with the big days coming soon.

I will not be buying any medals in this series.

Generally, I have to be enticed early on with great pictures and videos otherwise it's very likely I will not be interested in the series.

Marketing (great photos and videos) is really important and missed opportunities for buyers are losses for sellers in general.

After all, how hard is it for the mint or prominent sellers to take fantastic pictures and videos of the medal to go along with the announcement of availability?????

As someone who buys medals mainly on their aesthetic qualities, excellent pictures and videos of the medal are truly important in getting me in the mood to buy it.
