Return to place of purchase!! Not acceptable. If you bought if off the secondary market I'd send an email with photos to Perth Mint. They've always been good with me for defects like this.

what COA did you get?
+1
All the recent complaints about 2nd & 3rd party resellers of Perth's products being slow to ship since Dragonmania hit may need to focus on Perth Mint. It's looking like they've over run their headlights and are now turning out a substandard product.

It is really a shame - I picked up my high relief dragons today and they are fantastic looking coins. My favourite of all the releases so far. Send it back and get another one. Proof coins cost more because of their flawless finish. Without that finish it is an expensive bullion dragon, the mint should have quality control to prevent this.

+1 I might even keep one of these

Great Photos!

Are you sure it isn't some new realease or a new Privy mark!

Take it back to where you bought it or if you got it online, then by all means get in touch with the Perth Mint as that is not acceptable for a Proof coin.

Good luck.

Thanks Guys for your Opinion, Coin on Picture isn't mines , it belongs to another Forum Member, its an Abroad Buy, there is another one with Milks spots, summa summarum 2 Coins with Spots, but a lot of Coins are still in Transit, most of people buy HR Dragon in AUS , PM Direct or Downeys, German Dealers sell those Dragons on first Hour for 85 and in two Hours the Price went to 125, now it takes 159 to buy a HR Dragon , its a Robbery, for my Part a decided not to buy, there are much more Nice Coins in Releases under 5 000 Pieces that costs under 80-90 , actually in our Forum are a pair of Dealers pushing already HR Kookaburra, f*****g unbelievable , in Trade and Swap part of German Silber Forum are 99% Lunar II Offers, everybody are trying to get rid of Lunar II Coins, inhumane price Politics of German PM Dealers is pushing all of Buyers out of Lunar II Series.

Thanks Guys for your patience with my bad English :)

PS:
High Relief Kookaburra thread in Germany !
Its a bit early for pushing isn't it ?

That's a cheap Marketing Trick, does a PM need something like that ??
Dealers like this are not representable for Coin Distributors, they should sell a Hot Dogs on Tehran s main Street !!!

Had no problem understanding you ... we are used to reading Water & Food's posts.

Lots of people here are angry about the release of the privy marked Dragon - I saw it being (incorrectly) labelled as a Lunar release last night on ebay.

Whilst additional mintage is an issue, most people HATE the fact that it was released so much cheaper than the official version, and yet is almost identical.

Havent seen it dent Lunar Series II Dragon prices over here yet, but interesting observation of whats happening in Germany.

Good luck with getting your HR Dragon coin replaced - sure you will have no problems dealing with Perth Mint. What they lack in Coin Release Strategy is made up for in Customer Service (just my opinion).

I think there's some stackers here that would be keen to get their hands on some of these early S2 2 oz and 5 oz at those prices (me included). Got some more info on any available for sale eurokrem? :D
