High Relief 1oz dragon proof

Limit only one for High relief dragon, so unless one does not want to keep, nothing to flip :).

Titanic coin price is cheaper for US customers at Talisman coin. Although the downside is they may delay the shipment for 1-2 months.

If Talisman World Coins can't sell the coins on ebay, they'll send them out right away. If they're selling for a premium on ebay, Talisman will simply cancel your order, that's why I never buy from Talisman coins.

I just woke up and went to have a look and it's unavailable so I'll have to drive out to the mint for mine.

I have a feeling this is going to be a very sought after coin. I don't know if the mint plan on going back and releasing earlier lunar years but I think they will be producing 1 for every year from now on - that would make this the first coin of a mini-set.

Ah so they're finally out of stock on the website. I might've gotten lucky by getting up at 7 heh, any later and I might've missed out.

I think they'll put more up at 8:00 AM Perth time. That's what they did with the Berling/Welsh/Koala etc last month.

This midnight / 3am etc thing is a bit silly.

The Perth Mint online system now favours purchasers that don't reside within Australian time zones.

I believe this is an Australian mint?

I'd much prefer to order during daylight hours.

Congratulations to our overseas members that have benefited from this policy change.

Cheers

Talisman sucks!
A few months ago,
I placed my order online for the 1oz Coloured Proof Dragons with them.
They had a limit of 5 coins. So I ordered 5 coins.
They accepted my order, took my credit card details.
I got a printout of my reciept.
Waited the reasonable overseas processing time...nothing... so I emailed them.
No reply, emailed again. No reply, emailed again. No reply. emailed again. No reply.
I've given up seeing those coins.

My credit card details and order was taken.
Credit card wasn't charged though.

Just like if Perth Mint were to take your order now for the High Relief Dragons
then to never send them out or charge your credit card.

You think you have them, but months later, you don't.
No email or contact mentioning they are not going to send them to you either.

I was not the only one that ordered these coins from Talisman.
I know of a few others that were in the same situation.

I got woken by the toddler at 2.45 am. A bit of a feed and cuddle and back to sleep while I jumped on the Perth Mint website to buy 2 for the family. Back to bed an hour later.

Pretty much same story as me, what a bunch of cons

Same story here. Not only do Talisman cancels orders whenever they feel like it but they do not inform you or bother to reply to any of your emails.

The beauty of kids waking me up at 5.30 am!
I couldn't see anything else interesting to buy so ended up paying postage instead of forking out another couple a hunge. Clever marketing though. Suckered me in a few times in the past

Yes clever marketing.

Coin has sold out overnight. "unavailable"
Yet hasn't reached their best sellers list.
The titanic coin is currently their "No1 best seller".

Really?... I didn't stay up all night to buy one.
Anyone else?

Hahahaha Perth Mint marketing at their "finest".

Reminds me of the "HOT HOT HOT ROYAL WEDDING COINS! ALMOST SOLD OUT".

Ok. Good on ya.

Wrong Thread but i honestly believe we are being stiched up by them on the 5oz and 2 oz bullion dragons. The email they sent me yesterday with heading 'Hurry - silver bullion dragon coins available now! availability is extremely limited and current stocks are expected to sell very fast.'
They build it up so there is a frenzy!
Between about lunch yesterday and today their website is saying only about 50 x 5 oz dragons have been sold. Horse shyt!
They have held off on these and built it up so they would sell heaps in a short time and released them at the same timeas the privy so people well buy those pieces of crap. Again clever. But a bit dodgey i reckon especially for an unlimited mintage
