Hand pours

Silly question, and I believe I know the answer, but here goes:

If you melt Maples to make a poured bar is the bar more prone to milk spots?

Not trying to be funny, just curious.

I work in an industrial laboratory (on a casual basis) using rows of furnaces, ovens, balances etc.

When I came across this topic it made me think what an amazing setup I had access to potentially make my own bars. (pending approval of management & silver stack ).

Something to consider in future once my stack grows....
 
Here is something I made over 2 days. It's my first block so ill have to improve on a few things to get one as close to perfect

If you do go selling any though; I would check first in-case there are any copyright/trade marks on the shape of the block.

Its already been sold :D but you could be right..
