I just spoke to the guy, he seems legit and has receipts from perth mint and they are recent bars. he is negotiable on price but I just don't think it is that good a deal is it?

its a good deal today but will tomorrow bring?

Because you can sometimes get a better price on GT and not get harangued on here for your overpriced wares I've sold stuff on GT I'd never consider selling here because I know they're "overpriced" to the SS crew.

Gumtree is the dodgiest place I have ever been too. Would not trust anyone on there, for anything, not just PM's.

All I'd use it for not is to buy or sell second hand goods.
