Nice medal! Love to have one of these, 100 mintage, crazy low.
@barsenault: please stop posting so "nasty" videos for few months. My wallet already wanted to commit suicide and has jumped through window. Few banknotes that managed to escaped were grabbed by people walking by.

That is good for these.
Typically top pop for these types = 69
I've seen another medal that tops out at 68!

BTW, I've seen lately that NGC China has changed these types from MS to PF Matte.

The cost to get this or any modern Chinese medal graded by NGC varies I think. For example, if you buy a Premium membership, you can get 5 medals graded with no cost for the grading....the fatty slab is an additional charge. So, if you use the membership to get Chinese medals graded, you can save money on the first 5. Additional medals (above 5) will cost $ USD $35 to be graded I believe (plus there is still the fatty slab cost).
Those big fatty slabs with a beautiful Chinese medal housed and preserved inside are kind of awesome.

Further charges also depends on speed of service, as well as any additional services like imaging, etc.
Membership fee should probably be amortized, as well. Obviously will be higher per medal if you don't get many graded each year.
Sending in yourself will probably be cheaper, with more hassle. But also no guarantee of grade -- could be disappointing surprise, or could be pleasant surprise.
Have to pay up for pre-slabbed. Especially for those higher grades. At least with pre-slabbed, you know what you're getting ahead of time. Do sellers/dealers only send in really good ones, which skews grades upwards? Something to consider.
NGC China might be more experienced than NGC USA in these, with the latter perhaps giving lower grade than China, due to inexperience?

anyone notice that the Beijing Palace is labeling by NGC as 2015 and the Greatwall is 2014.

I was just checking out a bunch of NGC census reports on 2013 & 2014 of these types..
Descriptions / labeling are all over the place!
One medal issue might have like 2 or 3 different ones, making it that much more difficult to track.
Due to difference between NGC offices (China & USA)? Staff at one just creating new categories as they come in?
I've seen an 80g medal (not mine) labelled as a 2-oz coin!
NGC needs to get their act together on these.

Yes, I was just going to suggest the same thing that because NGC has offices in U.S. and Hong Kong, that could be why the differences.
