Any milk-spotting so far for the bullion silver? Do not wish to pay the premium for snowy beast which has unlimited mintage.

All Ag Britania subject to mlkyspot
TC , what makes you think so?

The Britania are notorious to spot

Not yet, at least can't found from mine. You need to seal them as soon as you got them.

Note: Scratches is another issue.

Guys the design of this coin is a winner, and in real life looks fantastic. The sheen, design and heft/density just makes it impressive to view and show off to non stackers.

The place purchased from provided 10 that were not in capsules rather in the Original Manufacture tube. Just a warning to fellow collectors taking a chance on these - I can confirm minor scratch issues will be present on a couple of the coins, mostly on the obverse. This no doubt looks to diminish the premium resale to collectors sought after in future. On the flipside it makes the coins that are looking "MS70 worthy" all the more rare.

Collectors - I would only suggest purchasing this coin if provided in the original mint capsules not the tubes, otherwise expect to take a chance that you may not receive a perfect product.

On another note, this guy went all in!! Crazy impressive single purchase that a humble stacker could only dream of

Has anyone found a source for capsules to fit the 2oz coin in Australia?

Love to find someone selling a capsule to suit. Closest I could find is on ebay from an Air-Tite dealer in Minnesto.

On eBay, search by
Black Capsule Tube & 10 X Deep 39mm Air-Tite Black Ring Holders for 2oz Stackers

The freight cost to Aus is the problem, of course.
Should any interested Australian forum members consider a group buy ?

Stumbled across the first of these coins while browsing through a new website

Quite like the look of it tbh, will look to buy etc even though the recent price spike is a bit of a killer lol

Well I now have a few Lion's Beast in original RM capsule, no nicks when compared to 5 bought from aussie dealer (I dont blame the dealer).

If the majority of the coins I own are milk free a year from now, I plan on only buying singles in original RM capsules. Maybe we can arrange a group buy from the Royal mint or UK dealer, if no Aussie dealers bring them in capsules.

The tubes must be quite loose.

A group buy would be good butand I'm presuming you are referring to the 2oz silver coins-

such an exercise would need to be less than 10 coins otherwise they would be sent in tubes.

Would need to total less than $1000 AUD so as not to incur (rightly or wrongly) import GST.

Price per Unit: 44.11

Quantity: 9

Bullion Total: 396.99

Vat Fee: 0.00

Delivery Costs: 29.83 (Shipping takes about 3 days from Wales to Melbourne. Blazingly fast!)

Order Total: 426.82 (rough exchange rate 747.00 AUD)

International bank fee AU $20.00

*Foreign exchange Shenanigans AU $20.00

Total - 787.00 AUD

*There is always another differential due to bank funding foreign exchange which could swipe another 20 Dollars out of the total which would finally be the funded amount in the RM account.

Lets call the Grand Total AU $787.00 for 9 (in original twist capsuled) coins.

AU $87.44 / coin.

-------------------

As you probably already know, It seems original capsules

Genuine Royal Mint Piedfort Screw Type Capsule- Diameter: 38.61mm Double Thickness

can only be bought from The London Coin Company through their website or eBay site for AU $57.56 EACH

Just one capsule!

Surely we can ask RM or dealer that we only want singles?

Second does gst matter?
Considering government is lowering gst threshold and isn't bullion GST free?
Also by 2017 maybe no bullion is gst free (re ATO ruling)

Yes, larger consignments of singles can be ordered.

Need to order 50 or more and the price per coin drops to 41.10.

The courier could be expected to charge GST before delivery - to them it is just an insured package valued at $xxxx amount

either way.. on the GST question I don't know for certain, but think it's important to factor into the total cost.

perthbullion has both the 2 oz coin and caps I just got it yesterday although the coin was scratched
