Grain so easy to forge

Hi all, with grain being sO easy to forge (any blob of silvery metal) would you risk buying from 'Bay?

What do you mean by 'grain'? As in rice grain weight?

As in silver grain, tiny blobs of silver mains used for casting and jewellery but now used in investment too (very uncommon use though)

If you dont want to risk Ebay, see some here in UK, not sure how prices compare as never lloked into it. Just going to buy one of their bars too, just like the look of em.

Quite honestly im bidding on 2 small bags so its no big loss if they're not legit but i see it on there alot and it never seems to get bid on.

When the retail shortages were on in 2008-9 it was one of the few things that was readily available. Kitco was selling bags of it. Wouldn't be my cup of tea, not very liquid I'd of thought though you should always be able to sell it back to a dealer.

Am I the only one who was confused thinking the OP was refering to the unit of measurement "grain"? I've never seen granules called grains, before today.
