Graded RSC Rounds??

Just wondering if anyone on here has had their Royal Silver Company rounds graded? And what did they get graded at?

Very good question .I have never seen a graded 2010 Andean Cat round ..

An opportunity is open ..
 
If they haven't yet,I am sure they will if demand is high enough....

Edit: I have checked the NGC website and can not find any reference to grading of Bullion rounds. Only legal tender issues.
 
Why would you wish to grade a round anyway ?
Noticed that RSC "coins" are selling on eBay in Aus for fairly low premiums.
Were it not for the International shipping I would be snapping them up.
 
I had one sitting next to one of my graded coins when i was searching for something else, and was curious. Didn't ever plan on getting them graded.. I was just wondering if anyone ever had.

Why would you not?
Authentication and verification services are a growing part of investing in precious metals..

Only a matter of time before they start grading rounds ..they are grading Lunars and Pandas..to me both are ersatz numis ..Andean cats/ Macaaws et al are only a short step away
 
NGC only grades medals from official mints and even then not all mints and not all medals.

There is slim to no chance of RSC rounds being graded by NGC.

PCGS is even more stringent in my experience towards rounds so the chances are even less likely imho.

Other companies aren't worth going with.
 
Grading is for antqiue coins and coins that need verifying due to the scarcity and becuase they are extremly valuable.. why you would pay to have a normal silver coin (lol a round is even more non-sensical).

Not only is it a waste of space, a waste of plastic and a waste of time and money.. what are the chances people will pay more for the cost of coin + grading when all is done.. and what was the cost of getting it graded.. Seeems like a hopeless excercise

Id get an old chinese trade dollar graded as there are soo many fakes and the coin will be worth $500 ..

Now time me how you would justify the effort in doing so... id back grading companies who wouldnt bother... they clearly see no value in it..

if you were around for the basketball card bubble youll know all too well how much a graded b-ball card is worth now..

the whole grading system is for suckers... and really its like halloween or valentines day.. set up by industry to profit from you.. Britiania and asian collectors prefer unslabbed as a rule.. always buy the coin --- not the GRADE or slab.

Does anyone know what is going on with this mint? Are they still producing new coin designs? Haven't heard any noise for a while.

Wow 1 for 1 that will open a can of worms. I recently sold a high graded Asian coin for approx 6 times its value,and the only reason it went that high because it was authenticated,and it went to an Asian. The coin was sold in the thousands,not a few dollars.Might be time to move with the times.
