Good sized stack?

Hey all,

Just started stacking and wondering what's a good amount of silver to aim for?
5kg 10kg? Maybe a silly question but just putting it out there!

As much as you can personally afford based on your circumstances and aspirations in life.

An equal question you can ask is:
"How long is a piece of string?"
 
Such a broad question, it differs for everyone. are you a "crash JPM buy silver" kinda guy or someone with a brain? How much money do you have available? how long are you going to hold onto it? why are you getting into Silver now?

Personally I'm not comfortable holding a large amount at the moment, if I had money to burn then I'd invest in gold. I think for someone new the natural targets are 100oz, 500oz, 1000oz but again it depends on allot of things.
 
Good Size to stack is what you can afford.

as for what size to stack. Go with the most popular sizes 10oz and 1kilo for bars these 2 sizes will get you pretty close to spot price when you come to sell. any smaller or larger you find its below spot by a % when it comes to sell.

Got some bad news for yer Booty. If silver went to five hundred thousand dollars an ounce the cost of the average home will be in the millions. No one is going to make a fortune out off silver. We will hopefully make some but don't hold your breath.

my goal is 10k oz... but 5k is more then worthy :)
ideally 1k-2k ounces of silver could greatly help u in the future!!
 
For any serious environment, I'd definitely be looking at going for a full sized rack.

Also large number of ounces doesn't always mean large value I'm sure there is people on this forum that have smaller stacks in total oz but the value is much higher eg. 1kg PM bar a bit above $1000 1oz mirrored panda around the same. 1oz series 1 dragon around $120 1oz pamp bar around $40 I try to look at a stack by value not weight depending on your aversion to risk will depend on the weight of the stack.
