Hi Lim, thanks for the pics.

I haven't seen many 1oz 1982s in person, so I can't really say for sure.

However, it does look a little bit too glossy, especially over the parts that are meant to be sandblasted. But that could be due to the packaging.

I hope these pics help, even though they are only 1/4oz bears.

Chance upon it at a pawnshop .. You can find all kinds of strange gold coins there :)

Gonna send it to the casino then to ensure it is the real thing :P

Me too think is fake. But you can see the details in the temple side? In the photos the details are missing?
Same to the pandas arms? Too glossy?

If you got it from a licensed pawn shop in Singapore, chances are its going to be genuine. I don't think the pawnshop operator is going to take a chance by selling you a fake gold coin in Singapore.

There is the chance that this Panda's sandblasted/frosted features were polished! :)

Poor Panda :(

Thanks guys , the pawnshop is also a public listed company in singapore . So should be a real deal .
I got the proper tax receipt from them so I am pretty covered .
So gonna send this to Ngc for grading next time .
Got to save some fiat first .

The 1982 gold pandas are the most faked gold panda since they don't have denomination and technically considered as "medals"

but if its the real deal, then you've struck big!
