goldsilver.com insider program?

I did a quick search and didnt find anything recent. Are any members here a member of Mike Maloney's insider program? I am wondering if it will be worth it or not to be a part of the program, or if this is information that will eventually leak out on to the internet a day or so after he reveals his big exit strategy anyways. 500 oz of silver is a grip! Any current thoughts on this?

Haha that's a good one!
He is the smart arse selling his "program" for 500oz of silver!

It does seem to be US based, as he mainly talks about the dollar in relation to gold/silver prices.

Phiber, he isnt selling the program for 500 oz of silver, that is just how much you need to accumulate from him before you are considered an 'insider'. His prices are generally among the lowest or near the lowest for most things, just wasnt sure if anyone had actually joined the program yet.

Maloney has been one of the worst market timers over the past few years (almost as bad as BullionBaron) - anyone buying his stuff would have to have rocks in their head.

Why do you say that? Seems to me he got in at a decent time, around 2003, and has been in ever since....

I wondered the same myself. From what I understand, they also have a fair few people employed to figure all the technicals in the background, and these resources are directed toward the Insiders program.

I will say, their strategy isn't to trade in and out of dips and peaks, if that's what one is looking for - but I will also say the thought of the information and research available on the insiders program is somewhat appealing (or so it seems to me)... I'd be very keen to hear arguments against!

Read what I said. 'one of the worst market timers over the past few years'.

Look over his interviews in last 3 years and he's been calling for the market to head higher short-term...

He's attempted some technical analysis, claiming bullish head and shoulder patterns and failed every time.

That may be so, but from what I understand, the insider program isnt about timing the dips and short term markets, but an overall exit strategy....

From my understanding, he plans to tell people 'when to sell at the top'.

If he didn't see the last 3 year downturn coming, there is no way I'd trust him trying to pick the short term top.

Thats a good point...maybe he is ONLY saving that info for Insiders. Just Kidding. I would assume he had some level of credibility to be the only dealer (that I know of) that could promote a reputable Insiders program. Is there a ranking or list out there of credibility/reputation/intelligence of bullion dealers? Maybe a trust index could be created...

Or you could just decide for yourself and realise that he or anyone else hasn't got any magic market timing super skills. Leaving the decision of when to exit in the hands of a third party which interest is keeping you in the game as long as possible seems like non sense to me. The only person with your best interest in mind is you.

Is that the best you could come up with? haha

One of the better quotes from that thread :P

It was probably the bottom or very close to it (a final test of the $26 area wouldn't surprise me). Not every support line holds, not every broken support line means a dramatic collapse as some chartists would have you believe.

Incorrect.

I said the market was going higher - it did. Rallied a couple dollars higher from where I said it would :)

I sold my silver in the $40's... at the next peak.... surprise surprise, I made the % gains I wanted to!

Meanwhile, you are still holding all the way down.

You are right, it was only $1.50 :D

Baron, when you decide to sell your pm's at the bottom, send me a pm - I won't discriminate.
