Gold Stackers: Are they going to release more intrinsic gold rounds?

I really like the 1/10th Intrinsic round and would like to see MOAR! as in 1/4, 1/2 and 1oz for starters... :D

Not sure what they are doing, but when you can get 1/10th Perth Lunars from GS for less than the 1/10th XAU Intrinsics..... well I am not sure if it's worthwhile for them to be produced.

The Lunars get the $5 Legal Tender status and a slight Numi premium at resale at a cheaper buy price, or you can buy a private design round. The Intrinsics are cool and different though - incuse strike makes them stand out to most on the market.

I'd take the PM Lunars every time, and they have the 1/20, 1/10, 1/4 and 1/2 ounce sizes as well as the full ounce coins.

I know it's different but I remember having a discussion with a couple of SS members at the Melbourne SS meeting a few years ago. Do we buy the Kooks someone had or else the XAG Rams that Goldstackers were unloading. The other guy took my advice and bought the Kooks and I grabbed a few of the Rams because I loved the design.

Sold one of them back to Goldstackers a few months ago for $1000. I can guarantee that you wont get that for the kooks.

If there was a new limited release from Intrinsic Tender such as the Ram Pennies then yes I would be all over it. But we are talking about a standard non-annualised 'round' of unlimited mintage versus a very limited mintage special release like the Rams were.

On top of that, you can't buy what isn't produced. There's only a 1/10 XAU incuse round available currently and from limited dealers. PM Lunars are everywhere and easy to get - and generally the lowest price of any fractional gold coin in Australia. Perth Bullion has 1/20oz 2015 Pandas cheaper than the 1/20oz PM Lunar Goats right now by about two bucks which is definitely worth a look.

I was kinda hoping someone FROM Gold Stackers would answer the question, not some clown who wants to wax-off topic about PM fractionals...

FFS Monster, if you want PM gold - go buy it and start your own soggy sao...

1 XAU blobs are available. Should be live on the website any time now. They look good.

To date 500 of the 1/10oz have been produced - no more gold fractionals in the current design are likely. They are simply too expensive to fabricate competitively when there are affordable legal tender options in the market.

Saw them, will definitely pick one up!

My whole point was that it is simply not economic to do so in the amount of fractionals you wanted...... let alone in the 1/10 which is already there. The proof of this is LT options available at a cheaper price, with the likelihood of some numismatic premium in the future.

If we swing to a longer-term rising market then it starts to become feasible as the rising spot price pushes the metal value above the cost of production.

And that's exactly what I said. Not trying to put words in GP's mouth, just stating the obvious.

The blobs do look interesting though, something different from the ABC & Perth products.
