Gold Confiscation by the Reserve bank - Could it happen here?

Mr Howard took us into the first war in Australia's history where we are an invading aggressor. It has been a social, human rights and economic catastrophe. This is his legacy. If there was justice in the world he would be standing beside his masters Dick Cheney and Tony Blair in a dock facing charges.

He wanted to be a "Big Man" and a "player" on the world stage, and his way of doing it was to take us into an illegal war against a country that has never bothered us. Now Iraq is covered in depleted uranium and hundreds of thousands of women and children are dead.

I hope that he can't sleep at night. Sorry for the rant, but this really bothers me.

I believe the total death "toll" is in the order of 1.17 million. Discusting.

When voting in an election, one must always select the individual/party that will screw up one's situation the least.

... Unfortunately it is getting harder and harder to identify which person/party that is.

But it's tax deductable if you turn the 'criminal management' into a business... If you make any money you'll get taxed on it... But at least you can buy more silver!!

I stand to be corrected, but weren't we involved as agressors, along with the British, during the Boer War?

Wikipedia is our friend.

Australians were certainly there, as part of a multi-national force.

And yes, we were aggressors. It was basically a british attempt to retake the colonies after they had fought and won independance previously.

Interestingly, this is the first time we saw the implementation of concentration camps..... oh yeah, our hands are clean right... no skeletons in this closet!! (Shh... They're under the floorboards)

Not sure, but back then we would not have had a choice, we were a peon of Britain and had to do what they told us. Not so this century.
