WOnder if the uncertainty over Italy, is pushing gold up today and yesterday.

Tight range atm 1575 - 1585

A break above could see a test of 1600

A break below would likely see buyers emerge again around 1560-65
 
Nice ten buck spike - straight into the middle of the channel. Any ideas what the driver was? Another one of those, please, waiter.
 
Oh look - dip and a recovery and we're cruising near the magic 1606 (which appears to be the number below which Asian buying kicks in). AM reckons this week is Silver Bottom week, so fun & games to follow.

long @ 1526 stops at 1519
short @ 1518 stops at 1535

get your popcorn and puke bags ready, this could be the long fabled deflation before hyper inflation
 
Whoa!

20 dollar upward gold spike with an immediate fall-back. Are we seeing a clearing of the stops? Could be an interesting night - I wonder if Silver will decouple from Gold?

Likely to have dovish tone given recent weak data - could offer some support to metals
