We should go back to the argument that gold is too heavy to carry in your pocket and thats why we dont have it.
I like that story.

No one wants to be the guy with heavy pockets, no way man.
Pockets full of gold sounds like pure hell! Hehe

?
At the current price it’s not heavy, you don’t need much in ya pocket.
One ounce is lighter and takes less room than $5k cash
And a cold storage wallet with $5 worth of crypto in it.

I like silver but always favour gold...we can wear a nice sized necklace or two and afew rings and its worth 1000s, or a wheelbarrow of silver. I like the condensed wealth the small amounts i can aquire these days. Timed a good amount of my silver pretty badly lost some faith along the way especially looking at older charts and ATHs thats come before. But gold has treated me well i've sold majority of stocks and "paper" assets on a limited budget these days PMs are 1 of only things i trust now. When so much is a lie to me its real money :) Conversion into gov funny money and cbdc does worry me but sometimes its 1 of many things now born from lack understanding, vague information and control and interference into most aspects of our lives

I agree that Gold is much easier to carry significant wealth. I do like to have some Silver though.

I did a Gold for Silver swap when the GSR was 105:1 . I had 3oz of Gold in the little key pocket of my jeans as I rode my Harley to the Gold/Silver Dealer I use.

Swapped those 3oz of Gold for 300oz of Silver ( 300 x 1oz rounds ) which now weighed just over 9.3kg. I had to put those 300 x 1oz rounds in my backpack. U do notice 9.3kg hanging of ur back.

I was glad to get home & take that weight of my back. The 3oz of Gold in my little pocket on the way to the dealer was unnoticed

$100 in my late teens.

And now THC is medically dispensed and costs cents each day to use.

Edit to add: and it's driven the illegal share farmers out of business.
Weed is literally 1 of only things that hasnt been effected by inflation and rising costs...in some ways a safe haven still ;)

Jerome Powell said they want to cut rates to boost a dead economy but inflation is still too high.

Its what golden dreams are made of and we always knew this was coming.

Its just too easy being a stacker.
