Very roughly, about half of China is still living the way they did maybe 200 years ago. The top half are the ones that have seen the real progress.

They have their 1%ers too, probably mainly members of "The Party", with lots of property in Sydney and Melbourne!

The bottom half will probably have to rely on that one child to keep the wolf from the door.

Just like everywhere else,the wealth is concentrated into less and less hands with the gap growing year on year.
