silver price at AUD$26.79 at the moment... the market opens on Monday, how do you expect it to react to this??
It doesn't matter. It will either go up or down, but ultimately in the long term, it will increase in fiat.

i understand that... just want to get opinions on how this would affect the potential $20-22 low that some people are expecting...

If you were going to buy, say 10 ozs AG, and the price went down $4, you would save $40. $40, in the scheme of things, really isn't that much. 1000 ozs is a different proposition of course.

Put it this way, if I had some spare fiat, I would buy now regardless of price.

Naturally, when I buy the price always drops, and when I don't buy but intend to, the price always rises! Hence the original comment, that it doesn't matter.

Looks like you are looking for the holy grail :/ aren't we all ;) honestly, if we knew or even if any of the SS'ers knew they would most likely be incorrect. I suspect you are hunting for a quick profit  and wondering where to park you $$$$ your guess is as good as any (including the hardcore chartists) :D

It just seems to me , that if you hadn't been buying all the way down, you would have cash near the bottom to buy.
For a newcomer.
When it appears that things might go a good deal lower,it might be better to wait until it seems to have really bottomed ,
and to wait until its been going up for a while, before buying.
Who knows how low it will go.
And maybe it will say there.

Fortunately, or otherwise, I have not been buying all the way down. However, I feel that now is the right time to buy.
