Further recommended reading/viewing?

So, I've read Mike Maloney's great book (twice, actually), and a few things from Schiff. I've got a print-out of 'The Creature from Jekyll Island' lying round here, that I will probably check out next.

I really enjoyed Maloney's book, especially the depth the goes into exploring the historical precedents and his clear and concise manner in which he covers a pretty large topic. And despite his evidently bullish stance, he doesn't descend into mania or unsubstantiated speculation.

Just keen to hear people's recommendations for further reading. Cheers!

:)

Max Keiser...check out his website plus his backlog of videos on youtube... he's been on about this for so long he's gone a little mad.

"The Ascent of Money" by Niall Ferguson.

I will be posting a review soon. Not PM-specific.

Haha..... I just bought that last week with a gift voucher I got for my birthday! Just watched the first episode last night.

I've enjoyed it so far, nicely fast paced, and a good intro into the origins of our banking system. Very keen to hear your thoughts, too!

Didn't realise it was on TV. I was talking about the book :)

Ha ha....well we have both learnt something here!

Well, as I said, the DVD is reasonably fast-paced, well edited and professionally presented. As an intro to the subject it is fine, although some of the more studied members of the forum may find it to not have enough depth.

For me though, both entertaining and educational - even my GF enjoyed it!
