This is such fun, even more fun than trying to buy Poseidon. Too cynical maybe, but I suspect they are playing a game with this release and don't even have any to sell . . .already sold them all to dealers and pre-orders for the lucky few who got the previous ones. What a nice gesture that pre-sale was :-S Maybe they will put a few up on their site just to be able to say it was available. Gotta love it.

I too believe this is just a circle jerk, the majority if not all of the coins are spoken for already....maybe just a few token ones on the website.

The perth mint officially sucks
 
We have a technical issue this morning that is preventing us from uploading October new products to The Perth Mint website. We're working to resolve the problem as soon as possible sincere apologies for this delay and the frustration it is causing.

Ok so it hasn't gone live, which means you havent sold any yet on the mints site....we are a small crowd here...make sure we can get one coin each...what...no...didn't think so....this was a scam from the get-go.

I tried logging in an hour before scheduled release time, and your servers were already swamped...had nothing to do with adding coins into the release que.

Your servers are extremely under capacity, and most coins are spoken for before throwing a few up for real single purchase customers to never really have a chance of ever getting directly from the perth mint.

It's probably just that the website and hosting solution are not designed to scale to high traffic levels. If it's like places I have worked, the tech guys will explain to management why this is critically important in any modern online sales site, and management will ignore them while looking at ways to downsize the department and outsource technology operations.
 
When they do show up, will they pop up on the first page of the new releases? Took me 40 minutes to get that far, don't want to do anything but hit refresh, if I go off on another page I may never get back!
