First Brisbane Meet for 2013 [Saturday 31st August 2013]

Okay catering is booked now as well, at this stage we are looking at a cost of $12 a head which includes some finger food. There will be a Bar onsite if anyone wants to buy any drinks etc.

We have about 16 coming atm with thread interest and PMs. Anyone else keen please let me know either in the thread or via PM.

We are looking good for tomorrow, I'll start sending out details shortly, if anyone else would like to come it's not too late to come along just send me a PM tonight and I'll send through the details.
 
Okay PM invites are out now so you should all have the details of the meet. Since the thread is public lets keep the location off general discussion. Anyone else that would like to come it's not too late just PM me and I'll shoot you over the details.

If anyone wants to put a heads up of any items of interest they plan to bring along feel free to hijack this thread now.

I'm gonna bring manly 1oz Silver Re-mint Kooks and Some mixed 1oz Silver Lunar years.

Oh crap, I forgot to let you know that I couldn't make it. Meant to do that 1st thing this morning, please accept my grovelingest apologies, and if it left you out of pocket tozak, please let me know by PM & I'll fix you up.

I was so looking forward to another meetup, but today was always gonna be touch and go.

Glad it was a success though, and thanks tozak for getting it done!

Well a good start to the first meet, a good crowd I think, hopefully we can wrangle some more numbers up on the next one. Thanks to everyone covering the event. :)

I liked the venue and I hope it's central enough for most people, the food I thought was good but wasn't really best value. I think we could do better with some deli-cold cut platters or something else next time.

I know some people travel a fair way coming from either Northside or Southside so many thanks for making the journey.

If people are keen I'm make it a regular event setting it up every 2nd month. Say last Saturday/Sunday of the month in every month divisible by 2 (every even month)? Let me know people thoughts as we could make it on Sundays if that would be better? I didn't do this on Sunday just because of Fathers day.
 
Nice venue, private, tables for people to show their wares etc. Food wasn't that crash hot, probably could bring something along next time.

Every two months or so would be managable, Saturday was fine but no problem on Sundays either.

Nice to see some new members along as well.

Saturday or sunday is fine with me. I think I would only make every second meeting as I have to travel a ways. Definately a christmas meet should be on the agenda.

Definitely had a good time, learned a lot and great meeting fellow stackers. Happy to make it on Saturdays down the track.
