In the light of recent threads about Endless bumping and Lowballing ..etc.

Perhaps we could spin some feelgood vibes on the topic of your favourite buy or sell, to remind us all of the positives :)

I will kick it off with my most recent auction..a bit of a shambles ,I confess.Got some late bids and really was not ready for the snipers :D..Anyway ..all the bidders accepted my decision and moved on.

The winning bidder ,finicky ,has since contacted me with an option to sell back the 18x 2 oz Kooks at same price, relative to spot,at any time in the next two years..His calcs (and his heart)are awesome :D

Share your feelgoods with us all...

I've recently relieved some overseas sellers of their Crowns. It kinda feels good to be bringing them back home.. :)

I once bought a 1/20 nugget at below spot, coz the dealer mis-labeled 1/20 as 1/25.
And I was actually looking for this particular coin for my collection.

I felt bad after that and went back to the shop and bought another high premium coin to balance out my 'winning' lol :P

I recently went to a coin shop and saw two sovereigns at $160 each. They had been priced and forgotten about years ago and were in with the non gold coins.

I felt very good getting them cheap. I actually told the lady what they were but she just worked there and didnt care.

A couple of months ago I bought a few boxed proof Kooks CHEAP from UNIVERSAL COIN COMPANY
Scotty calculated 3oz per box set
I got home & looked them up & found out they were 4oz all up in each set
I was in there the next day & told him & paid him the difference :D
Scotty's always been good to me ,so why burn my bridges (especially for 4oz's ) :D
Giving away a couple of Lunar's as presents to a mechanic friend of mine who always looks after me
For his 2 young boys ,an Tiger & a Dragon :D

The look on my daughter's face when REDBACK gave her an ASE ... for her birthday.

(Tnx man, now she's a stacker! Getting herself quite a collection, she loves the Cougars as do I.)

And also to someone here who shall remain nameless, who today was extremely kind (via PM).

... and Boyou for starting this thread and "sharing the love" ;)

After the deal has been sealed, the shipment did not come as planned. The SS member has been constantly updated me with the progress. At the end, he gave me 1oz ASE coin as a token of gift. My sincerely gracious for the gift and will keep the eagle as part of my collection.

A while ago I picked up a coin for a mate he had purchased off eBay. Turns out it was part of a deceased estate and the guy was helping get rid of it. They had no idea of values and were fed up with ebay, stupid questions and tire kickers. Spot was around $32 so I offered $35/oz across the board. Lost on the pre dec but had a win on the past / present / future coins and Kangaroos. He's was stoked with deal and so was I.
Feel good, happy days!
