Favourite fractional coins

Me thinks the best fractional Au/Pt is the 1/10oz coins.
It has the most face value per oz, e.g:
1/20oz = $5FV = $100FV /oz
1/10oz = $15FV = $150FV /oz <---- highest
1/4oz = $25FV = $100FV /oz
1/2oz = $50FV = $100FV /oz
1oz = $100FV = $100FV /oz
2oz = $200FV = $100FV /oz

OK but how do they compare to cost per unit of X?

When I stacked lots of fractionals, it was 1/10oz. 1/4oz was my next favourite. If I had to pick one today, it would be 1/4.

Then I came to the conclusion that gold wasn't for post-apocalyptic spending, and I switched to 1oz coins/bars.

Silver is for post-apocalyptic spending

Definitely half sovereigns if priced exactly half the full sovereign.

I'm with you photon, particularly shields although these will be priced with a premium.

I also like french 20 francs.

Among the modern fractionals, size generally corresponds to admiration but I do like the 1/4 oz.
