It is rising because Carnarvon just found oil and is taking the price of FAR up with it.

Nothing to do with CVN.
FAR has been rising for the last 7 months, CVN only been moving strongly for less than a week.
Oil & Gas sector broadly has been doing very well for the last 6-12 months - a 'hot' sector that is gaining momentum.
Most of the majors have been moving upwards for 12 months now and some juniors have done well too. eg. ATS recently. AWE, SEH getting taken over. STO getting a T/O proposal a few months back.
