Fake sterling silver on ebay?

100 mills sellers now state they are selling .999 alloy of silver and gold

all for the princely sum of 10 bucks

no shame whatsoever

I've tried getting sellers booted for misleading/dishonest listing descriptions, but FeeBay is a whore who only cares about commissions!!! If they're making money off a scammer, it spends as well as the money from honest sellers. SMH

don't forget to look at the feedback

One piece of neutral feedback indicates 925 silver PLATE. :) Some sellers have no shame at all.

haha yea i just noticed that, however when i was looking at the other item from the seller on auction which was exactly the same it had about 1minute left before it ended and The sight of a good deal nearly had the better of me, anyways it was a close call and lesson definitely learnt :)

Yeah its like ebay legally have to "have a report this item function", it seems obvious to me this goes to left sock heaven and no human eyes ever look over a single lodged complaint..

Ebay has lost 100% of my business.. they are at least in part, responsible for the open shill marketplace that it is.. unethical sellers hiding behind lazy to big to control ebay and bleeding unsuspecting bargian hunters dry.. why would ebay want to cut off there hand to spite there arm.. after all they share in the con artists's profits.. to address the issue is simply of no benefit to them.. until we mass exodus there FEE paying system.. its great to know you can buy elsewhere.. and more often than not save a bunch of cash.. esp if you factor in registered post.

I reported ~15oz US 'junk silver' which was about half of spot price. They just did a direct copy paste of another listing, ended up being removed within 12 hours. This was from someone with 100% feedback from 35
