Fake bullion on ebay wtf!

As long as the description clearly indicates it is a fake I don't see a problem with it. There are plenty of fakes on eBay, from gold nuggets to perfumes, it is the responsibility of the consumer to make themselves aware and fakes are a great way to acquire a brand name product at a cheap price.

Agree with Shiney, if it's clearly stated it's not really an issue. Obviously it's copyright infringement etc but the resources needed to stop these guys is usually better spent elsewhere as they're pretty much unstoppable.

I made it abundantly clear the pendant was a fake.

At $10.00, just a touch cheaper than 10 gm of 999 gold ;)

I've seen them sell on eBay.

I listed it on eBay a while back and had it removed.

So it seems some sellers are allowed to list replica / fakes on eBay and some aren't.

I'm lying? Go to eBay and type in "replica gold".

BTW some of you said "thanks" to my article being removed from this site, yet here you are taking a different position???

No, I thanked The Pelican because
it's a great example of the exercising of private property rights.
