Fake 1/2 oz nugget? - ebay

Same thing goes for metal detectors. Usually done with catalogue pics. Often has crap like "must sell as heading o/s" attached.

Always bargain hunters who will take a chance to save some $$ and keep these clowns in business.

Wouldn't the buyer be protected by ebay if thing goes sour?
Who will end up forking out?

Hmm in a way yes. But I guess you would have to fork out the shipping fee.

But most importantly, I hope the guy realizes he's buying a fake!

You pay for a half oz gold coin and the seller sends you a package with tracking, containing a normal $1 coin.

Records show you received the package and seller has fulfilled their paypal tracking requirements.

Good luck taking that up with paypal.

If you paid by CC you might be able to reverse the charge.... maybe...

you just send it back stating item not as described..paypal will pay you back...they are usually on the buyers side especially if the seller has 0 feedback...been there ;)

Most of the pictures look legit but anyone willing to send $700 to a zero feedback seller is just an idiot

Unfortunately there are some people that actually think they will get a bargain.
