Anybody seen this kind of "error" bar before?

Nice bar House, I've seen one but the imprinting on the reverse isn't as good as it is on yours (only has about half of the line of text).

From allengelhard.com which has a couple of pics of similar bars:
9th series in 'P' serial prefix variation, last variety in truly old-poured form. Note the reverse of these examples occasionally demonstrate a 'reverse' convex stamping impression of the top line found on the observe. We have included multiple photos to demonstrate reverse pattern variations and believe this was caused by an inadvertent stamping of the production line surface when a bar was not present. The stamping force altered the production line surface area in such a way that the hex-screw head pattern also began leaving an impression. We believe the transition from this 7th series to standard production 9th series occurred at serial number P076500.

Thanks for that quote SE. Tried the site first but not exactly iphone friendly

I only ever used to stack bars 1kg and above but lately I've diversified with some smaller bars and coins such as kooks and lunars. I've managed to pick up a few different Engelhards along the way and it's become a small hobby of mine, here is a sample.

Finally lost my Engelhard virginity!

7th series poured, waffle back. The air pocket on the back is nowhere near that deep or as dark in person.

I'm by no means a diehard Engelhard fan-boy, but there are some pretty cool ones out there, as a nice occasional treat.

This definitely won't be my last.. :D
