ENGELHARD

I'm a total Engelhard groupie. The only bars and rounds I have are all Engelhard. Nonetheless, I'd never pay anywhere near $10/oz over spot for common Engelhard stuff.
 
I hear you. I'm lucky because I've got a good LCS and a couple other good contacts, so I can buy Engelhard without paying wacky Ebay-level premiums.

Funny thing is--I tried finding some of those Perth 10oz cast bars and the pricing on them in the US is lethal. You'd think those bars were 50% Ag and
50% Pd. The shipping cost is what makes them prohibitive over here and there's no way around it.

The 1 ozer on the left is Engelhard, the other two are JM. They are made for Manfra, Tordella & Brookes, Inc.

Hey everyone! First post on the boards. Thought it only fitting I post in an Engelhard thread since I'm a HUGE Engelhard fanatic. Here's my collection so far. Hopefully you can see them all... <img src="http://i.imgur.com/mu9nxLu.jpg" alt="Uploaded with Imgupr" />

time must he real hard now, we starting to see the "E" that for ages, never seen the sun light.

there is no need to bargain or fussy about the prices, grab them while they have been regarded as black sheep. may be right now.

when I have the time, will snap a pic to post here on the 'Angel Hard'
 
i also love Engelhard and anytime I see it at shows or LCS I buy if the price is same or less than silver Eagles.

One of my dealers noticed how much I loved Engelhard and started to research them. he went from charging $2-$3/over to $6-$7 over for them. Now I still buy them but I shake my head.

I really like the 1984 Big E Engelhard Rounds but for those shopping on ebay there are fakes that look like proofs.. Stay as far away from those proof looking engelhards bc they are all fake.

I called a dealer out who sells fake stuff and he turned around and said I have 100% positive feedback and re-assured me he is a piece of shit. He said you have 1 negative feedback and I have none so obviously and clearly I am a better seller.

I might buy from him just so I can turn around and give him a neg feedback.

So far I have not seen any fake Engelhard bars but if anyone has please post on this thread so everyone can stay away from shady sellers with no morals.
