ENGELHARD

Engelhard were all the rage when I started buying my silver in the 1970's - yeah, I'm an old fart (with the emphasis on FART)

Quality, Purity, Known name & reputation were the go then (as they should be now).

I've noticed that (not allowed to refer to this website sponsor apparently) have had a supply of 5 & 10 oz. bars for the last couple of years.

Why is it that they never run out of these?

Is it price, or what? _JLG.

no fart
engelhard is an old name, not you
the people who live with the name do loves the products, they got many places operations etc
I just saw, someone link that there was a fake...on facebook entry

https://www.facebook.com/groups/silverbugs/permalink/10155746138801000/

so I will just go for the common stuff, not that super duper HIGH premium.
there are plenty on sale, common people seems to be unloading a lot of them.

I do like Englehard bars, But damn they are not worth the money, paying the sort of Premium for these bars is crazy for long term stacking, Economy tanks they are only worth their silver content if people dont have the money to pay premium prices.
I sold a few a couple of years back, while they were one of my favorite bars, Having to much high premium sitting around makes no sense in any sort of a crisis especially when you could own way more silver for the same money.

A series 1 and 3,i think!!I’m sure they have been already posted but no images!!

I'm having a bit of trouble (it's late:)) identifying a few bars. I can't find a reference to this type of bar with anything close to the low number & I'd appreciate any help.
My bar looks the same as this picture with the serial #000212.
The others I have are #9944 & #11537
Thanks in advance.

Thanks BB2. I wasn't quite sure how to interpret the serial because the number was below those referenced on allengelhard.
