Hello Stackers
I have the following nice coins for auction. Thanking you for your bids in advance.
Auction: 25 x 2015 $5 Canadian 1oz Silver Coins (one lot)
Starting bid: $920
Coin description: (https://www.silver.com/2015-1-oz-silver-canadian-maple-leafs-tube-25/)
The Silver Canadian Maple Leaf Coin has long been admired for its beautiful artwork, which celebrates Canada’s rich culture and history. On the coin’s reverse side is the eponymous Maple Leaf. Although initially a reference to the abundance of maple trees found by Canada’s first settlers, this image has come to symbolize the country’s core beliefs of peace and tolerance.
Equally as significant to the coin’s design is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which is shown on the obverse of the coin. Resident artists have taken great care to ensure that both images have been etched with superior detail so as to properly reflect the nation’s pride and spirit.
Perhaps even more impressive than the 2015 coin’s design are its protective anti-counterfeit features. Appearing on the back of each coin is a small laser mark, located by the maple leaf’s stem. This mark will reveal the coin’s mintage year under strong magnification. Due to the cutting edge technology used to create this mark, replicating such a feature is nearly impossible. Also helping to prevent duplications of this coin are the radial lines, which appear in the background of both sides of the coin and make recreating the design a more complicated process.
