Item no longer available.

I don't recall there being a 1989 MS69 Guanyin apart from the 5oz which goes for 2-3k, not 365.

The 1oz ones from 97-99 usually go around 300, the 1/2oz are exponentially more expensive (talking silver here).

There's some gold ones with holo thingy & normal gold ones but that's for another discussion.

Sorry typo 1999 not 1989.

Goldfish medals... what do you guys think?
Silver or silver plated?
I can't tell the difference.
plated. the silver version has a totally different reverse, nice box though:)

It is hard to say. Both 1984 and 1990 has silver (non-plated) goldfish sets, and 1984 is harder to find. The distinguishing factor is single fish reverse in 1984 vs. two fish reverse in 1990. This set is certainly 1984, but the real question is whether it is plated or not. Looking at seller's fuzzy description I am inclining towards plated or fake. There are high amount of fakes in this. The most likely outcome in this is that someone bought/got a real box, and shoved in plated fishes into it to deliberately confuse and lure buyers.

Someone with poker money should buy this and gamble - otherwise steer clear.

no gilt on the ebay listing I was bidding but it got too crazy for me If any one has Guanyin coins and would like to do some trading, let me know , I have some good stuff to trade..................

I have just sent a message to "sonicslam007" - the user who bought the last fake mirror from him (got from his feedback).

What is the real market value for the 1993 China 5 Yuan Inventions and Discoveries Coin Ying Yang?

I saw two completed listings on Ebay Germany where the condition of the coins were suspect.
One finished at 611 Euro and the other finished at 521 Euro. Why the super high price for this particular coin?

http://www.ebay.de/itm/CHINA-ENTDEC...30761?pt=Münzen_Medaillen&hash=item2570479a89

There is currently one active listing right now with no reserve. Wonder how much $ it will end up at.

I don't own this coin. I was just interested in the coin after seeing the high sale prices on ebay Germany.

I have the 5 yuan proof fu lu shu and the 10 yuan version but not the coin above.
$450 is a great price than considering what the other auctions finished at.

Both German coins were varieties, the YinYang was actually frosted, look at the small bit between each person

The high price of these Yin-Yang coins are realized because this is a rare variety of the coin. If you notice the Yin-Yang on the floor (not the overhead one), the finished one has uneven frosting in Yin, whereas in the live one, the Yin is clear, similarly, the rarecoincollector one has clear Yin. reareconcollector price is high - the mintage for this variety is common.

Hope this helps.

Whoa, I messaged seller the following:

"Have you had the coins metallurgically tested to confirm authenticity/metal content?

They look good to my eye."

... and now the sale has finished!!
