I'm not sure on that but if you look at the market with PandaStats you will notice the BIN seems to bring top dollar.
You can probably use it to check duration as well.

I think 5-7 days is my preferred time. Too short you may not have given it enough time to gain a reasonable audience or allow the auction to gain its momentum. I personally think 10 days is too long unless you have got a 'hot' or 'expensive' item. With your recent 1993 MS70 gold auction I think 3 days was a bit short. For me I found it hard to find the funds for $3.5K on such short notice.
 
depending on which day you list as your objective would be to have your items end between friday arvo and sunday midnight.

But it can be more important when you list rather then when it ends.
especially if it's a buy it now as rarely do good items go to the end of the line, they are snapped up when newly listed, most people don't sit at the end of the line to look at ebay, most stay on the new listings as that's where your gonna get a buy it now good deal and that's how most people keep up with the category.

so when you list can be a huge advantage as your wanting to get the biggest audience whilst it's on the first page of new listings.

3 pm is the primo time to list on ebay U.S. to end about 10pm the day before.

7 days on ebay US as that's how most list and you pay 10c to go real far back of the list for 10 day listings so it's pointless, unless you have a store with multiple of the same items, then you go 30 days.

10 days from australia as again, that's how the normal flow goes.

by the way, this seller has quite a few various slabbed Chinese silver coins for sale.
 
Looks like one of those custom gilt jobs you see on European eBay sites.

I don't like them but some people seem to.
