^ suspect.....I offered $1300 and it got accepted (for 2 x 1kg) in seconds someone go on and offer $1k.
Only 20 odd feedback
 
Interested ito see f he accepts 1k from someone, have a crack SB, IF he accepts meh I will cancel my order
 
A couple of red flags are

seems to only accept visa/mastercard or direct debit

the 100oz bar he is selling he wont allow a pick up

up until very recently has been based in adelaide and now melbourne

a few of his feedback has been revised

obviously selling metal under spot

has 'sold item' listed for small cheap items but appears to have sold a
'perth mint gold bar' where the item description was made "private"

If they have accepted your offer on two bars, and accepted other
offers it appears more bars than he had available

Too many red flags for me unless you can pick the item up, which
I dont think you can


****Also listing says that item is not eligable for ebays buyer protection program******

Looking at the Mac Mint pics, there's a couple of things on the Ebay coin that are different..ie chin strap and hair next to chin strap.
 
Dealt with Strich only once when he had his shop in Melbourne.
Took in a load of silver coins as he had them advertised as buying for a very good price.
When I got there he told me that his advertised prices were old and that he was no longer buying for that price.
He then proceeded to start tallying up my coins for purchase at nearly half the price that he had advertised!
I told him what he could do, the scam artist.
I wonder how many little old ladies and the uniformed he scammed doing that?
