eBay: 20 Kennedy half dollars, zero feedback

Be sure to pay via PayPal, which cements your scam-protection in place. The current bid is only $1.29, so even with the $6 shipping charge your total exposure is only $7.29, which isn't exactly a big gamble. Besides, somebody else will almost undoubtedly outbid you for a pile of silver that's worth about $170-ish. I doubt you'll get burned on this one.

Update: I bid on and won one of the lots at spot. eBay have just sent me an email stating it WAS a scam and they are initiating recovery procedures. I have never been scammed on eBay before and was wondering if anyone knows how the procedure generally goes?

Note for future, for fleabay always pay via paypal connected to your credit card.
I was scammed $1700 by an international seller.
As it was international there was nothing the police could do. Paypal sided with the seller but Mastercard came to my rescue and reversed the charges.

But if you paid by credit card, paypal protection does not cover you, because the protection will come from your credit card provider.
