eBay 1 kg gold bar $7600 under Perth mint buy back.

the two people with 0 feedback look suss to me, one genuine bidder, but looks like they clicked on.
fees on that sale would be mental!

I just reported the listing. I don't know if it will do any good.

'Bidders e***i and n***n appear to be fake accounts, only used to increase the bid and give this fraudulent gold bar some credibility. These bidders both have 0 feedback and have only placed bids on items listed by this seller.'

the seller has a +feedback of 26, with 10 left by the same person in the last 1 month.

... and a couple of the feedback say will never deal with this person again or words to that effect.

Keep in mind also that ebay cannot enforce a seller to ship something if they dont want to (ie if they arent happy with the price they have achieved) - have been bitten that way myself, after winning an ebay auction a few years back.

Poor fella... I hope it's real for his sake... Gotta do a little more research I would think, especially when spending 36k.

Looks like the same listing discussed on SS a week ago.

Same image, serial, spelling mistakes.

I know that this item was reported by a few people - good work eBay on letting it run to completion. Idiots. Now they're going to have one hell of a PayPal claim to deal with. Let's hope any genuine buyer does not use bank deposit.

I can see how this will play out...... Person buys it and he sends "the bar" it arrives and the person says "this is a fake bar" seller then says the buyer has switched the bar.... He signed for it saying received in good order.

Buyer then has a problem, he said she said.

It looks like the seller has no intention of posting anything, the add states "MAY TAKE UP TO 14 DAYS FOR DELIVERY " (sounds like a donkey will deliver your gold bar)

My friends computer got hacked once and because he was still logged in on ebay the hacker listed a $2000 camera for $500 buy it now and changed his paypal account details. It could be this ebay account has been compromised.

I can tell you the account has not been compromised he has been at it for more than 6 months...

This bar and picture seem to be making its way around, i've scene this a few times now in different ebay listings. If anyone actually pays with bank transfer they deserve to get their money stolen. People that do this scamming for large amounts of money if proven guilty should be arrested for attempted theft.

Fraud & theft can get them up to ten years jail time. It amazes me how stupid some people are.

Don't consider myself stupid, but I was scammed for over a grand purchasing jewellery from a guy in northern NSW.
Even though it was agreed the items would be sent via registered post for tracking, they were never sent.
All communication stopped as soon as I enquired as to the tracking number for the package.

Compiled a dossier for the cops, covering all communications and promises that he made.

In the end, besides their best efforts, he wasn't even charged, because he said he posted the items (which is absolute bs).

This guy was well known to police and they were very keen to get him (their words).

So just beware that regardless of what is agreed upon in emails/sms, these bastards can still lie (saying it was posted via regular mail) and the cops cant do anything about it.

Looks like the seller and the two dodgy bidders may have had their accounts cancelled?

He lives right near the raceview shopping centre in a unit complex, he is really dodgy and evasive.
I can not believe there are people like him around.
