"Don't buy silver at the moment" - Schiff, Maloney, Morgan, Keiser etc

Now is a great time to buy PMs, IMO.but this is not the point of this thread.

For those of us who have been in the game for some years.especially during the notable run up to around $48 and crash thereafter.

Have any of you ever heard any of these guys suggest that "now is not a good time to buy silver" or even hint to back off buying?.

1) Peter Schiff
2) Mike Maloney
3) David Morgan
4) Max Keiser
5) Chris Duane

...or any other major voices whom offer advice and sell PMs.

I don't recall hearing them ever say to "back off" buying PMs. Do you?. (..and yes, I don't expect them to ever say "don't buy at the moment")

I stopped paying attention to all those guys a while back. My guess is that the ones who do interviews very frequently, like Morgan, are bound to have said something similar to now is not the best time to buy.

Some of them have a habit of disappearing when pms are dropping sharply. For instance, KWN Weekly Metals Wrap has been on Holiday for 3 weeks. Don't remember that happening before. Fortunately, Noricini has his own blog.

How can you really trust any info from some trying to sell you something .

Precisely.
They are in the business of convincing others to buy buy buy the "greatest wealth transfer in the history of the world" is just around the corner, just like the share market is just about to die completely and why now is pretty much your last chance to get in!

However kudos to them. They are charismatic and know how to appeal to the bulls and turn them into permabulls. Good marketing strategy.
These guys are permabullshiters.

It is a possibility, but I don't recall him doing so specifically. David Morgan is someone I've listened to many times.but not every time.
I realise they don't know for sure..but investors want to buy at low prices, not any price!.and these guys are supposed to be doing the deeper research (and they surely have connections within the industry).
I'm damned if I can recall any of these guys suggesting to "back off" during the run up to $48 in 2011.
I remember the enthusiasm though in 2011 during the price rise. If any of these guys were to suggest people "back off" buying when the market is running hot, they would be slammed by every permabull on the planet.
It would be a big deal within the PMs community. I think I've just answered my own question?..NO?

In 2011/2012 I tried to suggest that Mike Maloney was just trying to sell people something. I got shot down in flames.

When was the last time he released a video with a current PM graph?

I have said Baloney is full of it many times,... and got flamed too. :)
More-gone is just as bad.

Yep, this is nearly always True, not saying every salesperson is a liar, but not everyone is looking out for your best interests.
Similar note, I am yet to hear a real estate agent in the media say prices are dropping
(After they have dropped, yes, but only to say that they have now stopped dropping and are now going up again)

Watch Max Kaisers RT.com clips from mid to late 2013 and note which way price has trended ever since.

I like to read and listen to all of them, BUT I do get there all after selling something and using blogs, interviews, youtube videos ect ect as free advertising !

It entertainment, someone else's opinion that's all.

Listen and take it with a pitch of salt and then form your own opinion.

EJ at itulip. com called the silver top within a day and sold all his silver

He has maintained his gold position throughout though

I used to like Max Kaiser, but lately he get right on my nerves.

He pushes bitcoin far to much for my liking, the way he go's on about it you'd think he started it or is involved behind the scenes financially

Don't forget James Turk of goldmoneydotcom

When I was a more eager silver and gold bug I remember often being disappointed and bored by David Morgan's outlook so I don't regard him as a permabull

So call me old and cynical, but if he's now pumping up bitcoin I'd say that's the next new way to lose half your savings in no time flat.

Oh and not forgetting the greatest sage of them all - Ted Butler, with a mention for his mentor Izzy Friedman

Well he does apparently have something like 12 million worth of bit coins so don't be surprised
