Maybe they "fixed" their system to remove that accidental free shipping to the US? If I log in I also see $30 shipping.

It's free shipping over $500 to the US but $30 to Canada...do you not see that anymore?
Nice to see Downies is listening to these boards, just got an email newsletter indicating that customers in the US will now pay in AUD starting today and California residents will no longer have to pay sales tax.

I'm going to assume this change has something to do with closing out their US office...Thus the no more free shipping (expensive to ship from Australia to US vs US to US), no more sales tax (Non resident), and ability to pay non US legal tender in the US.

NO more free shipping to the U.S. for >$500 order either?

Hi wsd_collector,

We have made some changes recently with regards the removal of US dollars on our website and the closure of operations in Newport Beach, California, but the free shipping on orders over $500 for US residents is still available :).

Kind regards,

Renee

Just got an email from the New Zealand mint with lots of good information!

-The first shipments will start being sent out Monday.
-The gold sold out in a mint record 10 minutes.
- In the first week 9,700 of the 10,000 silver coins sold.
- Mark your calendar for August 14th for an announcement (obviously the announcement or selling of the next coin).

So excited to see this coin firsthand!!

Si offcourse the false flag begins in australia the donald ducks gold lower in price in europe , the silver everywhere for sale
dealers bought it all and now the promotion begins but 600 euro (before 700) now lower in prize for a 1/4oz gold * duck is total madness
but like always there are dreamers who think they got the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

WAYYYYYY too much for such a gold coin. There is premium... then there is PREMIUM! I'll buy the set in 2 years time when people panic or need to sell up.

I bet vast majority of those 9700 were bought by small and big time flippers  Ebay price for the silver duck was as low as $90 shipped, which is even lower than NZ Mint price

Quite a few people around the world love Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Who doesn't know Mickey or Donald???? ). imo, These are icon coins, Because at least the first 2 are the original imagery of both Mickey and Donald, As well as being only 1,000 mintage each in the gold. They did a fantastic job on these 2 coins. It just depends on what you're into. Some paintings go for quite a few bucks and some people wouldn't pay a penny. Different strokes for different folks. I picked up a Mickey And 2 Donald's so far. I paid a few hundred bucks more on Mickey because i was late to the party. Non the less, I'm glad i purchased the first 2 in the series to begin with. If anyone is interested in the GOLD Mickey still, I know where to order them. E-mail me if interested.....

Those who are picking up the series, Congrats....

Haha when I read that, that's the first thing that came to mind!
Obviously it was a bunch of coin sites and flippers who bought them. How else would that gold sell out in 8 minutes! That's still impressive selling though. PM just sitting back enjoying all this attention to their coin

so the ducks has arrived

The Mrs got her ones today as well. Nice coin. Not as nice as Steamboat Willie (surely the worlds best pornstar name..), but still a great coin to own.

Thanks for sharing real pics of the coin!

Can't wait for the coin to add to the mickey mouse gold coin. :)

You are mistaken, this is a NZ Mint product that the Perth Mint was also reselling. Unless PM means something else?

Oh no you're right! My mistake. Thanks for the correction. I originally said NZ but switched in the second comment haha.

Anyway, I should be getting my silver tomorrow and so excited. Nice picture of the gold, lostwords.
