polar bears are left handed

Well actually ... That's debatable.

Polar bears always use their left hand to cover their nose while hunting. This keeps their favored hand available for walking.

Yours fullofshiittedly,

Did you know - that if you ring the ATO in May, and you are put on hold and hear a message "Your place in the queue will be retained and a customer service operator will call you when you have reached the head of the queue", and after a while the music playing changes from "The Carpenters - Close to You" to a Christmas Carol like "Deck the Halls" and you glance at the digital calendar on your wall and you notice it's November 29, and you go 'Shit, I forgot to ring Dad for Father's Day?" and "What the hell am I going to buy my wife for Christmas?", then your place in the queue was probably not retained?

Did you know that?

Do you know: girafee only sleep 10mins once or twice a day.
???????????

I want to see some proof to that claim. Keeps getting bandied about mostly by silver bulls :/

I don't have proof about the silver in tomahawks but they cost around $1,000,000... enough to buy alot of silver :| sickening

why the hell would they need that much Ag? sounds like a load of CRAP. totally unwarranted. May as well have a solid gold Nose-cone as well.

Can anyone name a silver compound that would be used as an explosive? I would be cheaper to make it nuclear. Plus if the ag was for electronic control. you wouldnt need that much of it. I'm sure they would be happy using copperwire. If copper is good enough for the space shuttle, it's good enough for a missile due to never return.

Silver apart from gold, it is the most malleable (bendable) and ductile (it can be stretchable) of all metals.

You can draw a 45km strand of wire from 1 ozt of pure silver. Pretty cool ha !

"Awesome"- I'll finally have an antenna that works!!

For all the wiring and pcbs.. Cruise missiles are built to never need maintenance, even after storage on board a destroyer out at sea for many years. Shuttles get fixed up every time they come back to base, while missiles never get touched till they are used. Also, as they are out at sea, they need more protection from corrosion. Copper oxidises faster than silver...

If they were worried about corrosion, they would gold plate. Silver corrodes massively in salt water/air environments.

DID YOU KNOW....

...that smartassing seems to be a discipline not only in "smart" states, but also in other regions where common sense and solid education are diminishing?
